The weekend is behind us. No more parades. No more characters. No more fireworks. Actually, Diane and I both decided that was about as long as we’d want to spend at Disney. In fact, we might have even done too much. Don’t get me wrong, we had a great weekend. I think we both prefer one and two day trips to the longer three or four day ones.
Leo was, as usual, a treat to travel with. I don’t think he had a single “difficult” moment. Lily was really very good. She loves Disney and was a real trooper even through the changed schedule, and late nights.
Oh – they were filming the Disney Christmas parade while we were there. We saw Regis and Kelly sitting in their chairs as the cameras swirled about. In fact, Diane saw Regis at the hotel the night before! As we left the park, they had just wrapped up filming and as they led Kelly to safety from the crowd, I found myself on one side of the human blockade, with Diane on the other. Ended up getting a picture of Diane and Kelly Ripa…
