Well, I’m here.

We’ll have to see how Lily’s day at school goes.  As we went in, her teacher, Ms. Laura was leaving due to illness.

It was an interesting ride to school this morning.  Right off the bat, Lily wanted to know what “static” is.  That led to all kinds of questions.  I’m not sure I’m smart enough for this job!

I’ve got a slightly busy week ahead of me.  And an important “business” dinner tonight, which should be very interesting.

We had dinner with some friends around the block last night.  We all had a nice dinner and ended with a walk around the block.  Their little boy has a train track installed on a ledge about 12 inches from the ceiling, so the train runs around the whole room.  It was cool.  I’ve wanted to do that since I was 6.

I heard on the news this morning that Christmas trees are running $10 per foot.  I don’t want to brag, but we ended up with a much better deal than that!  Our tree was less than $3.50 a foot!
