To those about to fly…
Old woman busted at Tampa Airport this morning. Said she has a problem with the old men gettin’ fresh.
Baby, it’s cold outside
Only 56 degrees today. Darn it’s cold. And the wind doesn’t help. We had ice on the ground last night and it looks like the low at our house was 29 degrees. Cold, but probably not too damaging. I covered my citrus trees last night and they seem fine. My banana trees are burnt and the grass has some patchy spots that froze. All in all, I’d say it was probaby a good freeze, not a damaging hard freeze.
Looks like mid 60’s to low 70’s for the rest of the week. Nice.
All the Christmas decorations are packed up inside and I only have the roof work to do outside. It’s just been so cold and windy, I’m putting it off for another day. It was a welcome relief getting the inside done. We’ve delivered people to the airport and I think that officially marks the end of the holidays for us. All that stuff starts to wear on you after a while. The Christmas decorations, that is. Not the inlaws.
When pigs fly
US farmer can predict the weather using pig spleen.
Forecast calls for 30% chance of snow.
And 100% chance of sausage.
