Bucs and Giants battling it out right now. Bucs trailing a bit, but good game so far.
I’m smoking ribs. It’s a gorgeous day to be outside and the weather is perfect for five or six hours on the smoker! It’s in the mid 70’s, clear skies, slight breeze. I’m not sure how typical this is for January. Might be bit warmer than usual, but it sure is nice.
We had pancakes for breakfast, went to church, did the grocery shopping and had lunch. Lily tried to take a nap, but she was looking forward to the football game so after a half hour of sitting quietly, she asked to come down. Leo could use a nap, but even he’s holding out.
It’s back to school tomorrow for Lily. She hasn’t been to school for 24 days…wow! Her last day was Dec 14th and even that was just an hour long party. So tomorrow will be our first day back to our regular routine.
I must be getting old. I actually watched the debate last night. Actually watched most of it. And both sides! I guess I’m politically confused. I took a blind online poll, answered on my preferences on a dozen subjects and at the end, the survey revealed which candidate I should vote for. I ended up with a tie – one from each party. I’m not going to tell you which two candidates…but one wasn’t Hillary! I’ll tell you that much.
