Just wanted to take a second to brag… nice weather, kids in bed and it’s only 7:45.

I never did get internet at the office.  I ended up leaving a little early to get a haircut and hit the grocery store.

I get the same haircut everytime.  There really isn’t much question.  It’s a half guard around the bottom, fade to a five on top.  Patti went to buzzing and got all worked up about her son joining the Air Force.  Then her clippers died and she had to change something out.  She came back and went back to buzzing.  Then she stopped and with a panicked look asked, “You did say a 3 on top, right?”  Uh, no, Patti…it’s a 5.  Long story short, and haircut short, I end up with a short one…but a free one.  I don’t really care – it’s only hair.  It’ll be back in two weeks anyways and I’ll be back in Patti’s chair.

Lily didn’t take a nap today – that’s why she’s already asleep tonight.  Actually, as soon as I brag that she’s asleep, she usually fires down a question from upstairs just to remind us that she’s still awake.  And it’s usually something very important.  “Can we go to the beach one day?”  or “When I get up in the morning, can I have a glass of water?”.

Leo also is fast asleep.  I’m sticking with the theory that he’s cutting a couple of teeth.  What a cutie.  I’ve been putting him down in the evening and he’s such a snuggle-loving little kid.  He loves to just lay his head down on your shoulder and be held.  Except when he sits up and grins at you.  He’s really awesome.  We’ve been sticking him in the tub with Lily in the evening.  We found a waterproof seat that he can sit in and play.  It’s just plain cute.  They love it.

So, I’m kind of done for the night.  I’m tired and ready to let the TV kill a few braincells for an hour or so.  I’m not even going to do my crossword puzzle.  We had spaghetti for dinner and I think I stuffed myself.  But it was good.  And it has been a while since we’ve had spaghetti.
