Another Friday night

Quote heard in our house tonight (and probably a quote never before heard)…”It’s the movie with Jessica Simpson, I wanted to see that.”    Diane, Feb 1, 2008 in reference to The Dukes of Hazzard starring Jessica Simpson.  Do you think anyone has ever said that about a Jessica Simpson movie?  Wouldn’t a Jessica Simpson movie be one you’d see only if you were given free tickets?  No, me neither.

Lily was asleep quickly again tonight.  Again, less than 5 minutes of reading.  How are we ever going to get through that book at this pace?

Nice and cool this evening.  We have the windows open.  It’s almost too cold, actually.

Long list of chores ahead of me for the weekend.  Long list.

Finally Friday February First

Lily is off to school in a good mood today.  She took her souvenirs from our trip to the Crayola Factory in Pennsylvania last weekend.   She was pretty excited.

I probably shouldn’t brag about the weather.  Ok.   I won’t.  See yesterday.  It’s the same.   Looks like we’ll be having a “super” weekend too.  Cold front blowing through tonight.  Low’s in the 50’s!!!!

I heard some bad news about the Strawberry crop.  Sounds like unless you can drive down to the farmers market to get fresh berries, your prices are going up.  And the weather forecast apparently isn’t exactly strawberry friendly.
