One more thing

I forgot that I had snapped a picture of Leo waiting for the doctor.  He sat there for five minutes ripping the paper on the table.  He loved it.

Then they stuck him 5 times with a hypodermic.

Ouch

My foot still hurts.  It isn’t the golf ball in my foot feeling anymore, but it still hurts.  I think I was limping and avoiding it so much, I’ve stretched the muscles in my leg now and I’ve got a funny cramp going on with my foot.  It really hurts to walk barefoot on a hard floor.

Lily had no nap today – she’s asleep.  Leo had a rough morning – he’s asleep.  The house is so quiet.

Poor Leo

A happy, smiling, oblivious Leo went into the Dr. office.  A sad, band aid covered Leo came out.  Dr. Murray declared him a fit and happy little boy.  He’s short.  But we knew that was going to happen now, didn’t we?  He is 27 1/2 inches long and weights 16.1lbs.   He got 5 (FIVE!) shots!  He cried, but stopped as soon as his momma picked him up.  I don’t know about you, but five shots was nothing – I wouldn’t like lying naked on that scale in the hall way with everyone watching.  That’s why I changed my doctor a year ago.

Monday

I’m home this morning.  I took Lily to school and Leo has a Dr. appt at 10am for a checkup.  I just stayed home and took care of a few things.  Actually, I can take care of a few more things because it’s not like I have anyone to talk to.  It’s 9am and Diane is watching Regis and Kelly.  I was just  “ssshusshhed”.  “Quiet!  Regis is talking!”  This is why I don’t work at home!
