Hump Day 7:02pm

Dinner is done, both offspring are bathed.  I bathed both at the same time, which is my usual routine.  Leo loves the bath and Lily loves pouring water over someone’s head.  Not sure Leo likes that part too much, but he doesn’t object.  Lily skipped her nap.  And it was a school day, so she’s not long for this day.  In fact, I’m going for a new record tonight.  My personal best at getting her to sleep while reading is about 7 minutes.  I’m going for 6 tonight.

I had a long, busy day today.  I must have worked on a dozen different jobs – all different customers, different juices and different parts of the world.  I was wheelin’ and dealin’ like crazy.  I can still hear the ringing of my office phone in my ear.  It’s like ”shell shock” – I keep thinking the phone is ringing.   I’m kind of ready to watch some mindless comedy on TV and drift off to never, never land.

13ft snake found in Florida Walmart – NOT SAFE TO VISIT

Florida voters tried to vote yesterday.  Primary was last week.

Note:  Lily asked if the Florida Groundhog saw his shadow.  I told her in Florida, it isnt’ a groundhog that determines how long winter will last.  We have a SnowBird from Michigan.  She’s 92 years old and if she sees over her steering wheel, we have 6 more weeks of winter.

Hump Day

Did you stay up and watch election returns?  Me neither.  Lights out last night before 10:15.

Leo has a bit of a runny nose.  Ok, that’s an understatement.  It’s running like a faucet.  I might have a good photo of a snot bubble I’ll try and post later.  He also had a terrible case of “bed-head” when he woke up.  So he was kind of pathetic looking this morning.

If you want to know the weather in Brandon, just look at my report the last couple of days.  It’s February – this is just how it is.  There are a few weather issues over the next ten days or so.  Not sure how this will work out.  A front is blowing through tomorrow and another one expected by the middle of next week.  Hopefully we’ll clear out by the weekend!
